International Olympic Committee (IOC) Olympic Programme Commission member Walter Sieber has been confirmed to attend an International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Europe 3×3 EuroTour event in Bucharest next month ahead of the discipline’s Rio 2016 inclusion review. The International Basketball Federation published the new „Rules of the game” for 3×3 basketball, which will be applied starting the 2013 season. The most significant change regards the ball. The use of a size 6 ball is now mandatory in both genders and throughout all categories.
