World Champions at Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Challenger

The second edition of Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Challenger, an event powered by Sport Arena Streetball, will gather some of the best 3×3 basketball teams from Central and Eastern Europe, featuring the World Champions from Serbia.

The members of team Basket 3×3 Novi Sad were part of the Serbian national team last year in Athens when they conquered the first ever 3×3 basketball world title.

Sixteen teams, 12 from across Europe and four local, will battle for a place in FIBA 3×3 World Tour Prague and a 4000 USD prize. The second place will also be rewarded with a prize money in total of 1000 USD.

Among the best Romanian players who will take part are Angel Santana and Catalin Vlaicu, both members of the Sport Arena UPB team who finished sixth in FIBA 3×3 World Tour Final in Miami, last year.

Three point shootout, skills challenge and a slam-dunk contest will contribute to the show.

But the main event, regarding the show, will be Da Move Crew, an entertainment group from Italy, led by Lorenzo Pinciroli. Their performance will feature freestyle, dunks and more, and they have over 1000 shows in 15 countries over the past 10 years.
