Carpathian Bears, second place at Moscow Open

The Carpathian Bears, Angel Santana, Catalin Vlaicu, Aurel Urucatu, Alin Spahiu and Vlad Ardeleanu finished second at Moscow Open 2012, losing in the final against Lithuania, 7-4 for the Baltic team. Considered by many a real 3×3 basketball world championship, The Moscow Open had a total prize money of 40.000 USD. The Romanian team received 10.000 USD for their performance.
