World Tour champs, to play at Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Challenger

The 2015 FIBA 3×3 World Tour champions, Novi Sad Al Wahda, are among the headliners of the fifth edition of Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Challenger that will take place in the iconic University Square, on 13 and 14 of August.

The world number one ranked player, Dusan Domovic Bulut and his team are coming back in Bucharest after they won the 2013 edition and finished third in the 2012.

Their arch rivals, Team Ljubljana, will join the list of World Tour teams to play in Bucharest and once again there is a big chance to see the “El Classico” of 3×3 basketball. The Slovenian team will appear for the first time in Bucharest Challenger, but they are familiar with the place as they finished second in the FIBA 3×3 European Championships in 2014, as the Slovenian NT.

A total of ten satellite tournaments will send their winners to Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Challenger and the full list of the participating teams will be announced soon.

Top two teams will qualify for the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Debrecen, the winner will receive a money prize of 4000 USD while the runner-up will get 1000 USD.
