The way to Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Challenger 2015

The fourth edition of Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Challenger will take place on 15-16 August, in Bucharest and will reunite some of the best Romanian teams together with top teams from all over the world. A total of 16 teams will take part in the tournament.

According to FIBA regulations for Challenger tournaments, at least three teams should have participated in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour the previous year. Other teams have to earn a ticket to the Challenger winning one of the qualifying events named FIBA 3×3 Satellite (can be a stand-alone tournament or a tour).

For Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Challenger, eight spots were reserved for the qualifying events, which are as follows:

The winning teams of the above events will automatically get a spot in this year’s Bucharest Challenger.

Four spots are reserved for the local teams, while for the rest of four spots the organizers will award wild-cards, taking into consideration, that the final line-up should contain three previous World Tour teams.
