FIBA Europe announced on Tuesday that the inaugural 3×3 European Championships will be hosted by Bucharest, the city dubbed by Sports Illustrated as “the unlikely mecca of 3×3.” The decision was arrived upon by the FIBA Europe Executive Committee during a meeting in Munich on 25 February.
