Darlington named World King of Dunk in Bucharest

Justin Darlington proved once again that he is the best dunker in the world, crushing any competition at the World King of Dunk, a contest held in Bucharest, Romania, at 3×3 EuroTour Wizz Air Sport Arena Streetball.

Featuring the new worldwide sensation Porter Maberry, the shortest dunker in the world, Aleksandr Shalygin and Kristaps Dargais, two of the best european dunkers and of course, Darlington, the dunk contest from Bucharest was the best so far this year.

With former NBA player and european legend Jorge Garbajosa in the jury, the contest was full of jaw-dropping dunks. But in the end, Darlington placed Garbajosa, 2,07 meters height, and ride it to end any doubts about who’s the king.

People jumped from their seats, the announcer threw his papers in the air, the jury members did the same with their marks, a clear sign that the contest was over.

Darlington received the „World King of Dunk” trophy right from the hands of Jorge Garbajosa.
