For three days, the basin of the recreational lake in Drumul Taberei, Sector 6, became a full-blown hub of sport and entertainment. BCR Sport Arena Streetball went far beyond a 3×3 basketball tournament, delivering a well-rounded experience across more than 20 dedicated activity zones.
Alongside the 500 players competing in the official 3×3 basketball event, thousands of visitors of all ages had the chance to take part in or watch a remarkable range of activities: volleyball, table tennis, martial arts, rugby, jump rope, dance, Zumba, skateboarding, badminton, mini basketball, mini football, catchball, pickleball, tennis football, parkour, kendama, chess, board games, and eSports, something for everyone.
The festival atmosphere was kept alive by relaxation areas, nutrition and hydration stations, and non-stop music that sustained the energy throughout the event. Even a bout of rain, which briefly disrupted the match and activity schedule, did little to dampen the crowd’s enthusiasm.
The next stops on the tour are Sibiu (June 12–14), Bucharest (June 26–28), Ploiești (July 17–19), Eforie Nord (August 14–16), with the season wrapping up in Bucharest on the weekend of September 11–13.
