The hottest day of the first tournament in the 20th anniversary season of BCR Sport Arena Streetball was — of course — the last one!
Bathed in sunshine from the opening whistle to the final buzzer, the event wrapped up in spectacular fashion. The stands were full, the atmosphere was electric, and the suspense lingered until the final seconds of the final game.
Sunday Vibes & Family Fun in Drumul Taberei Park
Many people out for a relaxed Sunday stroll in Drumul Taberei Park found themselves drawn into the event zone — and quickly hooked by the variety of interactive activities. From fans to first-timers, everyone found something to enjoy.
Some age categories hit the court for the first time today, while others returned after Saturday’s break for their elimination rounds. Meanwhile, the main court was buzzing not just with competitive basketball, but also with a constant stream of artistic performances:
- Energetic dance routines
- Acrobatic slam dunks
- And stunning juggling acts by Emilia Rotaru from the Metropolitan Circus
The mix of top-tier basketball and urban entertainment kept the crowd engaged from start to finish.

🏆 U12 Girls Final
LeBomboclat took on Clătite & Nutella in a tasty matchup, winning 5–2 — and proving the sweeter name wins!
🏆 U14 Girls Final
The biggest bracket of the weekend delivered serious drama. Team ChatGPT pulled off a comeback victory over Amigos, 8–6, after trailing late in the game.
🏆 U16 Boys Final
Quite possibly the most creative team names of the event faced off:
Furăm Cămile (“We Steal Camels”) vs Luptătorii Păcii (“Peace Warriors”).
In a high-energy clash, the “thieves” came out on top, 14–7.
🏆 Over 35 Final
Veteran squad Slam Dunk dominated the category, defeating Câmpinenii 17–14. Undefeated and averaging 19 points per game, they proved age is just a number — especially when you can still fly.
🏆 Men’s Open Final
The tightest game of the day. A true generational showdown between Știința OG and Pirații din Caraibe went down to the wire.
Bogdan Sandu hit the game-winning shot with 6 seconds left, sealing a 14–13 win for Știința OG.
Cezar Bărăgău earned MVP honors, scoring 6 points in the final and racking up 27 points total over the tournament.
