{"id":847,"date":"2015-06-03T22:08:15","date_gmt":"2015-06-03T22:08:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.3la3.ro\/2012-en\/?p=847"},"modified":"2015-06-03T22:08:15","modified_gmt":"2015-06-03T22:08:15","slug":"3x3-june-fever-sport-arena-starts-in-style-the-2015-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/3la3.ro\/en\/3x3-june-fever-sport-arena-starts-in-style-the-2015-season_847.html","title":{"rendered":"3&#215;3 June Fever: Sport Arena starts in style the 2015 season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Inspired by the famous March Madness, Sport Arena starts the new 3&#215;3 basketball Romanian season with a similar concept, the 3&#215;3 June Fever.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With ten consecutive days of 3&#215;3 basketball games and a total of 12 in just two weeks, with three competitions going on one after another, it\u2019s a perfect way to start a summer with plenty events to come.<\/p>\n<p>The final rounds of Sprite Streetball Battle \u2013 the High School 3&#215;3 Championship, the Final Tournament of the 3&#215;3 University Championships and the first tournament of the season of the already worldwide popular Sport Arena Streetball are taking place between May 29<sup>th<\/sup> and June 12<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>The high school ballers already broke the ice, with the first tournament from the zonal round taking place on May 29<sup>th<\/sup> in the schoolyard of National College \u201cSfantul Sava\u201d, one of the most iconic high-schools from Bucharest, founded in 1688!<\/p>\n<p>The high-school competition continues between June 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 4<sup>th<\/sup> in the newest shopping facility opened in the Romanian capital, Mega Mall.<\/p>\n<p>During\u00a0past weekend, on May 30<sup>th<\/sup> and 31<sup>th<\/sup>, University of Agronomical Science and Veterinary Medicine hosted the Final Tournament of the 3&#215;3 National University Championships. University of Alba Iulia in women&#8217;s competition and University of Pitesti in men&#8217;s competition were the winners. Both will represent Romania at the 3&#215;3 European University Championships, that will take place in Serbia, between July 23<sup>rd<\/sup>&#8211; 26<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Then, Sport Arena Streetball will start its 11<sup>th<\/sup> consecutive season, with a tournament organized in the University of Politehnica Bucharest, in one of the most popular 3&#215;3 basketball arenas of the world.<\/p>\n<p>The high-school athletes will close the 3&#215;3 June Fever with the Final Round of their championship, that will take place in University Plaza, the same spot that hosted the first ever edition of 3&#215;3 European Championships and is the annual host for the Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest Challenger.<\/p>\n<p>Rafal \u201cLipek\u201d Lipinski and Dimitry \u201cSmoove\u201d Kryvenko are ready to put up a big show in front the enthusiastic high-school kids while the cheerleaders from \u201cDracula\u2019s Girls\u201d team and the local rapper Skizzo Skillz will energize the crowd even more.<\/p>\n<p>Sport Arena is one of the main 3&#215;3 basketball promoters in the world, with more than 10 years experience in organizing 3&#215;3 basketball events, and this year and in 2016 will be the local organizer for the FIBA 3&#215;3 World Tour Final that will take place in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inspired by the famous March Madness, Sport Arena starts the new 3&#215;3 basketball Romanian season with a similar concept, the 3&#215;3 June Fever.
