From May 23 to 25, the parking area of Iulius Mall Ia\u0219i will transform into a true festival of urban sports and outdoor fun, as BCR Sport Arena Streetball<\/strong>\u2014Romania\u2019s most popular 3×3 basketball event\u2014returns for the second consecutive year. After a successful first edition, the event is back in Ia\u0219i with even more sports, activities, and surprises for the whole family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spotlight will be on the 3×3 basketball tournament<\/strong>, part of the national BCR Sport Arena Streetball circuit, alongside the finals of Iulius High Ballers<\/strong>, the competition dedicated to local high school students. In addition to thrilling basketball games, the event area will feature a wide range of sports and recreational activities to encourage community participation and movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sports Zones for All Ages:<\/strong>
Attendees can enjoy specially arranged courts for basketball, football, volleyball, and table tennis<\/strong>, a skateboarding area<\/strong>, a street dance zone<\/strong>, as well as interactive games and challenges<\/strong> for all age groups. Live music, prize contests, and entertainment moments will contribute to the vibe of a true urban festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registrations for the 3×3 basketball tournament opened on Monday and will remain open until Wednesday evening. Teams must consist of at least 3 and no more than 4 players. Competition categories include: Under 10 (mixed), U12, U14, U16, U18, Open (18+), and 35+<\/strong>, both male and female<\/strong> divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High School Finals \u2013 Friday, May 23:<\/strong>
The traditional high school basketball competition, Iulius High Ballers<\/strong>, will reach its climax on Friday, May 23<\/strong>, with the finals scheduled for U15 and U19 categories<\/strong>. Students will battle it out for the championship titles in front of classmates and enthusiastic crowds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
