After a successful debut stop at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, players and outdoor basketball enthusiasts are now preparing for the next tournament on the road to the grand final of the BCR Sport Arena Streetball circuit, which will be held in September in Bucharest. The sports competition is open to all basketball players, regardless of age, gender, or skill level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Registration for the Bra\u0219ov tournament begins on Monday, May 27, at 3:00 PM, on the official competition website, 3la3.ro, and is limited to 70 teams across all age categories, or until Wednesday, May 29. The participation fee is \u20ac50 per team, and players who do not yet own an official competition jersey can purchase one at the check-in area for 100 lei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This marks the second time in the competition’s 19-season history that Bra\u0219ov will host a Sport Arena Streetball stage, following an event held in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The walkway under T\u00e2mpa will be transformed into an area dedicated to movement and outdoor sports, and not only basketball players will have fun this weekend. In the fan zone, spectators can participate in various themed games, test their physical abilities, or engage in virtual duels in the console gaming area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be contests with prizes throughout the day, exhibition games featuring special guests, entertainment moments, and non-stop music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Friday will be entirely dedicated to fans, with access to the fan zone and playing courts, while the tournament matches will take place on Saturday and Sunday. The full match schedule will be announced on Thursday, May 29, after registration closes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the first tournament, 600 players participated, and 231 3×3 basketball games were played over the three days of competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partners of BCR Sport Arena Streetball 2024 are BCR, Mastercard, Nike, BCR Leasing, Horizon, Tissot, Albini Prassa, BCR Life Insurance, Rom, Ideal Board Games, and the Romanian Basketball Federation (FR Baschet). The official radio station of the events is Kiss FM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
