„Sport Arena, pasiune si competitie” (en)

Cristina Bigica, one of the most valuable young players from Romania, is talking about the 3×3 basketball, but also about her first year at Marquette University. Cristina is an important member of the Sport Arena Streetball family, and last year she won Tournament 3 together with her teammates from Sparks Team.

About Sport Arena Streetball…

The thing I like the most is the atmosphere. Every time I was at home, in Bucharest, and the tournament was going on, I was there, because I like to spend time with the people they have the same passion as I have. When I played they I loved that I could play with no strings attached, if you know what I mean, it was just pure basketball, no tactics.

About 3×3 basketball…

I think is very useful for any basketball player because it helps you to improve your one on one skills or your pick and roll skills. With only three people on the court, you can practice the pick and roll in any form you want.

About the first season at Marquette

The season was good. We are a young team, we look to improve our collective game, our chemistry. As far as my role in the team, this is a defensive one, I am not an option in the offense so often, but I am happy that I receive minutes on the court.

About Dwyane Wade…

I met him once, because, as you know, he is a former student at Marquette. He is not the usual type of superstar, he was very nice when he came to meet the women basketball team.

A promise…

Even I will play or not, definitely I will be at Sport Arena Streetball this summer!
